These are all the facilities a user has at his disposal to administer the site. The administrative section is password protected and the administrators can have a variety of rights.Products
Show
Shows all the products in a category. A user can select a category and see the products listed in that category. He can change the visibility of the product from this menu or view, edit, delete it.
The edit button allows the user to change descriptions, details, prices, images.Add

Allows a user to add a product to the database. The newly added products are always invisible to the visitor. The specification filed only shows at step two, when we know what the category of the product and therefore the description specifications will be.Manufacturers
Show

Shows a list of all manufacturers (brands) on the site. The user can view, edit, delete them or add a new oneCategories
Show
Displays the categories in the site. The user can view, edit, delete or order a category up and down.
The Edit allows the user to change the name of the category, description, the subcategory and the speciffication type.
The Add allows the user to add a category where he needs to.Discounts
Show
This section shows the discounts applicable on the web-site. There are 2 types of discounts : Quantity discounts and User discounts.
The administrator can add any variety of discounts, arbitrarily select products or categories and add :
Quantitly discounts : if a user orders x products he gets a x% discount or a x$ discount.
Multiple quantity discounts can exists, only one is used (let's say that a user gets discount x for purchasing 10 products and discount y for purchasing 20, if he purchases 15, the x applies, if he purchases 25 y applies, if he orders 5 no quantity discount applies.
User discounts : the administrator can add discounts for users, let's say that resellers have a 10% price reduction. He selects the resellers from the user list, the products and the discount. A user can have discount x% for some products, z% for others, d$ for others and so on.
As above, if multiple discounts are set for a product, only one applies.
The discounts can be a fixed sum or a percent.User discounts and quantity discounts can both apply for a product. In which case they are both valid. Let's say that a user has a 10% discount for a product and a 10% discount for a quantity. He then gets a 19% discount because the first that applies is the user discount, and then the quantity discount from the already discounted sum.
To Add a quantity discount all you need to do is select the products from the list, the discount values and the minimum quantity.
The Edit is just as simple.To Add a user discount you have to do the following:
Create a new user discount, which means that you select some products where you apply the same discount.
Add a user to a discount and input the discount value.
The Edit is just as simple.Orders
This is a list of all the orders and their status on the site; you can view them, edit them or delete them.
The Orders View allows the administrator to see the order details, edit or view the ordered items, print the order.
The Edit Order allows the administrator to edit the order’s status, add a tracking number and notes to the user.Website Pages
The website pages section allows the administrator to add a limitless number of static pages to the site.
The Edit page allows the administrator to change the title, the link, the content, etc. (As for all the text areas in the administration area, the administrator can open a HTML editor to edit the contents.)
The Add page allows the administrator not only to add the contents of the page and select the location in the site but also to select the location in the left menu.Product specification
The product specification serves as a list of characteristics for the product description. You need to do this first, even before you add categories. Of course, since everything is easily editable you can go back to this.
The Edit option allows you to change the names of the specification items, change the order, delete them or ad another one. Be careful, since these changes propagate through all of the products in the site that use these specifications.Product reviews
There are two kinds of product reviews. The local product reviews, that the user reads on the site or links to other sites. They are displayed (with a short description) on the product full description page.Product pictures
These are images used for the zoom function of the full product description. Although there is one set of pictures that the administrator can set in the product administration area for each product. These images may be helpful to display various product features.News
The news engine is a straight forward tool that the administrator can use to display and send news from the web-site.
To add or edit news just use the options and go from there.Newsletters
The newsletter section allows you to send periodical e-mails to the subscribed users. The function is easy to use. Here you only add the newsletter. From the Send E-mails subsection you send the e-mails, this section is presented below.E-mails
Here you can list, view, edit, add e-mails to the list of the subscribed e-mails. Users can, of course, unsubscribe from the newsletter engine too.
Administrators
Here you can add, edit or delete users to the administration area, configuring their rights.Build Computers
The Build Computers section allows the administrators to do just that, add the initial requirements to build a computer.This section has many options that the administrator can use to set-up the computer. These are some of them:
You can split the options on 3 steps.
Each option can accept multiple options, at least one option, no options selected.
The items can be pulled from the database or can be custom.
The prices for each item can be pulled from the database or custom.
Depending on these options the computer builder from the site will display items in pull-downs, with check-boxes, with radio buttons, with quantity pull-down.
The prices update regularly from the database.
Each system you add can have an image and a name.Users
This section allows you to edit or delete the registered users from the web-site.
Send Emails
Here you can send newsletters to users. You can have several newsletters saved and e-mail them to users.
Banner Settings
This option allows the administrator to put banners in text-areas for the web-site, in different locations on the web-page.
Note: All of the text-areas in the admin can be edited with an online HTML editor.
